1 Oct 2021, 4:00 pm

Cricket NSW (CNSW) has published a return to cricket update. Keep an eye on that page for important information about season 2021/22. CNSW will update that page with information as it comes to hand.

For outdoor training purposes, a summary is as-follows:

  • From Monday, October 11 outdoor training can occur, provided that
    • those aged 16 and over are fully vaccinated or have a valid Medical Certificate
    • there are no more than 20 people involved in total (not 30)
  • People aged under 16 do not have to be vaccinated
  • Service NSW QR codes will start to appear at Auluba and Commenarra cricket nets and Auluba noticeboard
  • Prepare for a competition season start of October 30
  • Check our 2021/22 registration page for possible season starts of all programs and competitions
  • For the Seniors competition: games will be one-day for the entire season. Semi Finals and Grand Final will be two-day games.

Vaccination requirements for 16+

From the Monday after NSW reaches the 80% double vaccination rate, community sport should resume for those who are fully vaccinated  and those with medical exemptions (staff and patrons only).

All seniors players aged 16+, spectators of all cricket and essential volunteers such as coaches, umpires, scorers and managers need to be fully vaccinated to participate in community sport.

We encourage all players aged 12-15 to get their vaccinations.

Now is the time to get registered!

KPCC is asking everyone who has not registered themselves or their child/children for season 2021/22 to do so as soon as possible by the 10th October.

For competition teams, this will allow the club to finalise selections & team numbers and submit them to the Association within their 16th October deadline.
