Preamble

Kissing Point Cricket Club understands that there are circumstances which require you to seek a refund of the Registration Fees paid in respect of Participation in a Program. The scenarios below apply to all Participants who have registered and paid for Registration.

Following registration and payment for Kissing Point Cricket Club members participating in programs and competitions run by our affiliated associations, Cricket NSW and Cricket Australia, a refund may be considered in specific circumstances.

If you believe you have enrolled in the incorrect program or competition, please contact our cricket club registrar via email at [email protected].

When will you be eligible for a refund?

Refunds for the club's portion of a program or competition fee may be available in the following circumstances, as determined by Kissing Point Cricket Club at its discretion:

  1. Program cancelled at no fault of Participant: Including major event or circumstance not within the control of the Participant or Kissing Point Cricket Club (pandemic, natural disaster, etc.)
  2. Compassionate Grounds: Including medical conditions, illnesses and untimely death, preventing participation prior to the start of the Program.
  3. Where we can not accommodate a Participant's registration due to low numbers in an age group, we could not form another alternative team, or we could not provide an alternative option.

Please review your PlayHQ invoice to understand how fees are structured, as the club fee may only form part of the total fee.

When are refunds not provided?

Refunds are not provided:

  1. For a participant's change of mind.
  2. When a program or competition has been shortened due to a major event or circumstance not within the control of the Participant, Provider, Association or Kissing Point Cricket Club (pandemic, natural disaster, etc.)
  3. Where a program has been provided free of charge.
  4. Where the club fee is zero, even though the total fee may be non-zero.

Other fees and charges

  1. Kissing Point Cricket Club does not have responsibility for charges incurred by you from your bank or any other financial institution
  2. Kissing Point Cricket Club does not have responsibility for charges applied within the registration package by third parties. Please review your PlayHQ invoice to understand the fee structure.

The Cricket Blast program costs are managed by CNSW and/or CA. For Cricket Blast refunds, go to Play Cricket Support and create a support ticket requesting a refund.

Affiliated Associations may charge a fee as part of a program or competition. If this is the case, please contact the relevant association with regards to a possible refund.

Government sports vouchers

In the circumstance where a government sports voucher is used, you may be able to seek a reversal of the voucher via the relevant government agency. No refund for government vouchers can be given by Kissing Point Cricket Club.

Where a refund is requested because you forgot to use a government sports voucher, Registration Fees will not be refunded and you will not be entitled to any other refund or compensation from Kissing Point Cricket Club. If you are having issues applying a government voucher code in PlayHQ, please open a support ticket at Play Cricket Support.
