Stage 2 Seniors format summary

Summary and experience level | May have played Junior cricket previously. We welcome girls who have not played cricket before. Participants should bowl with a straight arm over 18 metres with assistance given if they can't. |

Players | approx 9-11 players per side. 9 on the field at one time. If more than 9 players, players can sub off and on every 1-2 overs. |
Format |
20 over format (T20) Batters can retire not out after a minimum of 5 overs or a maximum 10 overs/30 runs whichever comes first. This gives all players a chance to bat. All players except two must bowl 2 overs before another bowler can bowl a 3rd over. This gives all players a chance to bowl. All rules are covered in the "Blue Book". |

What's provided? |
KPCC will provide a kit with equipment such as spare helmets, gloves, pads, bats. Players are welcome to provide their own equipment. |
Safety | Helmet and Gloves are compulsory. Please purchase an abdominal guard. |
Parent/Guardian involvement |
Parents & Guardians are encouraged to be involved in matches via scoring, umpiring, on-field helper or helping girls with equipment. The NSJCA requires that each team have at least 2 accredited umpires and will provide an online course allowing volunteers to achieve accreditation. |

Equipment
The club will provide a kit containing helmets, thigh pads and gloves. Players are welcome to provide their own equipment and this is encouraged from a health and safety perspective.
Please purchase an abdominal guard ("box") - mention you are registered with Kissing Point Cricket Club and get a 10% discount at Kingsgrove Artarmon.
Helmets are compulsory.
Volunteers needed
Our Girls Only cricket program is made available to girls who wish to play cricket with and against other girls.
The successes of our Girls teams and Girls Cricket Blast programs are founded on the club's ability to organise teams and run skills-based sessions.
We are looking for a Girls Cricket coordinator along with coaches and managers for our programs and teams. Contact Naveen, VP Juniors for more information.
