Based on feedback received, CNSW and Cricket Australia have rebooted the Blasters program for season 23/24. It is now called Cricket Blast and divided into two groups, Skills and Competition.
The season ran from Friday 20th October 2023 to Friday 23rd February 2024
There are 8 session in 2023, followed by the Christmas Break, then 4 sessions in 2024.
Cricket Blast Skills starts at 5:00pm and runs until 6:00pm
Cricket Blast Competition starts at 6:30pm and runs till 8:00pm
Looking for a Girls-only cricket program? Our All Girls Cricket Blast program replaces last season's Girls Master Blasters and runs on Thursday evenings at Auluba Oval. Read more about it and register.
The program starts on Thursday 19th October and run for 12 weeks, 8 weeks before Christmas Break and 4 weeks after. Sessions run from 06:00pm - 07:30pm.
Registrations generally open July-August before season commencement in October.
Cricket Blast Skills (formerly Junior Blasters) is a program for beginner cricketers. It will teach and build fundamental basic skills of cricket through fun, game-based activities.
The 12 week program runs on Fridays at 5-6pm, before our Cricket Blaster Competition program.
Auluba Oval, South Turramurra.
The Auluba Oval bar and canteen is open to all parents during this time - a great way to catch up with friends at the end of the week.
Coaching is provided by our leading junior and young senior competition players including some players now playing in the Sydney Premier Cricket competition.
Kissing Point Cricket Club provides junior cricket in the HK&HDCA and NSJCA associations.
For kids wanting to play Saturday morning cricket, we have U9 and U10 non-competition teams ready to register into.
Girls wanting to play organised games of cricket can play in HK&HDCA or NSJCA matches held around the North Shore.

Cricket Blast participants can wear Cricket Blast branded shirts from Cricket NSW (CNSW). These are included in the registration fee as part of a Woolworths Cricket Blast Pack and can be selected during registration.
Previous seasons have seen upwards of 60 girls and boys join the Blasters program.
All were split into 4 groups and rotate through different stations for a different game every 15 minutes. The kids were coached by some of our leading juniors and young seniors with great enthusiasm!
