Junior competition and non-competition age groups

Players in Junior Cricket comp and non-comp automatically qualify for their age group if they are under the age of the group at 31st August 2025.

Example: a player aged 12 on 31st August 2025 would qualify to play in U13, but not U12. A player turning 13 on 31st August 2025 or after would automatically qualify for U14.

Age dispensations are permitted upon request. Parents should email a request for this in the first instance to [email protected] detailing the reasons and the player's playing history.
A submission will be made to the relevant association, which will grant or deny age dispensations after review. Note that the associations may place restrictions on players who have an age dispensation, such as retirement rules, overs bowled or maximum score reached.

Stage-base teams, such as Stage 1 and Stage 2 Girls cricket are based on skill levels rather than age, and as such the age guides are an approximation.
