Congratulations U15 - 2023/24 Grand Final Winners

Massive congratulations to our U15 team, who won the HKHDCA U15 Grand Final played at Dural Park on 10th March vs WPH Red.

After a close 1 wicket win in the Semi Final at Auluba Oval, the team had a comprehensive win in the Grand Final. Putting on 132 runs from 44 overs (with only 10 batters), the team then dismissed WPH for 66.

Registrations for the season

Pre-season registrations are now closed but some of our teams will be happy to accept new team members, especially as we start to lose players to private school Saturday sport from Jan/Feb. Contact Naveen (Vice-President Juniors) or Dave (Juniors Coordinator) if you have a child who wants to play cricket and we'll see what is possible.

We are accepting registrations into the following programs through the season

Registration refresher

If you are new to registering to cricket, or just need a refresher, here's a quick primer:

  • PlayHQ is handling all registrations for the season
  • All Cricket Support is via the Cricket Australia support system
  • If you don't have a PlayHQ account, you need to create a new PlayHQ account. If you have forgotten your password, try using the "Forgot password?" link on the login page
  • Parents/Guardians should register themselves, then add children/dependants once registered.
  • If you are new to cricket registration, you will be asked to create a Cricket ID, which is your Cricket Australia login (this is not the old MyCricketID)
  • If you are a parent who is also playing, you can register to play at the same time
  • If you want to coach or manage, please register (for free) using that option in PlayHQ as it allows us to allocate you to a team easily.
  • Each registration is processed separately.
  • Registration fees will include the compulsory Cricket Australia National Registration Fee (NRF), covering technology improvements and insurance
  • If you have one, make sure you have your Active Kids Voucher number ready.
  • PlayHQ handles all payments, you will receive information from PlayHQ after registration.

Our registration fees are listed below.

Age groups

Players automatically qualify for their age group if they are under the age of the group at 31st August 2023.

Example: a player aged 12 on 31st August 2023 would qualify to play in U13, but not U12. A player turning 13 on 31st August 2023 or after would automatically qualify for U14. Age dispensations are permitted upon request. Parents should email a request for this in the first instance to Naveen at [email protected] detailing the reasons and the player's playing history. The Association grants or denies age dispensations after review.
